Feed Feel Good Thoughts

By Kate Corbin

“Find a place (inside) where there’s joy, and the joy will burn out the pain.” – Joseph Campbell

Feed Feel Good Thoughts.

A Native American elder once described his inner struggles in this manner – “Inside of me there are two dogs. One of the dogs is mean and evil. The other dog is good. The mean dog fights the good dog all the time.” When asked which dog wins, the wise one reflected for a moment and replied – “The one I feed the most.” In vibrational terms, it’s the one he focuses Energy toward. The lesson here is to be selective with your Energy – to be selective about the thoughts you feed. Feed Feel Good Thoughts and starve Feel Bad Thoughts.

Dismiss any thoughts that are inconsistent with your desire such as – “I can’t really have what I want.” “It’s never going to happen.” “It’s taking too long.” It doesn’t matter if these wayward thoughts come from your inner gremlin or through the influence of others. Gently dismiss them so that you do not feed them. Feed them and they grow stronger. Neglect them and they shrink and withdraw.

What If You Really Can Have It All?

If your tendency has been to worry: “What if this terrible thing happens,” spin it around to:

· What if this awesome thing happens?

· What if I can’t get it wrong?

· What if I really can feel good all the time?

· What if I’m not afraid?

· What if I can have ever increasing levels of vibrant good health with no decline?

· What if I really CAN be and do and have whatever I desire?

· What if it’s all my choice?

Make an intention to suspend disbelief and put a moratorium on all excuses and reasons why you can’t have what you want. In fact, throw that profane four-letter word CAN’T out of your vocabulary altogether. Can’t is not your friend. It’s gremlin talk and acts as strong resistance to the attainment of your desires.

What’s Right About It?

Here’s a great exercise to help you feed Feel Good Thoughts and starve Feel Bad Thoughts. Many of us have been trained to look for what’s wrong rather than what’s right with ourselves / with our significant other / with our world. Instead of considering the worst case scenario, try searching for the best case scenario. Instead of looking for what’s wrong with someone or something, focus on what’s right about it. As you set your radar for what you want to see, you become a magnet – attracting into your life anything and everything your heart desires!

If it seems like an overwhelming task to keep yourself feeling good, relax. It’s a process not an event. This is a new approach to life, and you will get it. Like anything, you’ll improve with practice. Continue to Feed Feel Good Thoughts and soon the Feel Good Thoughts will take center stage and the Feel Bad Thoughts will exit stage left. Continue to Feed Feel Good Thoughts and you soon you will be certain that You Really CAN Be and Do and Have Whatever You Desire.
